Khem Na’khi is one of the outspoken voices against the war on music. Through his revolutionary project, The Industry Rule Project, his aim is to raise awareness about the challenges and opportunities within the music industry.
How long have you been interested in integral perspectives and what sparked your interest?
I've been around the integral concept since 2004, reading the WIE (Elighten Next) magazine. I loved the forward thinking articles and discussions and the graphic designs - very colorful and appealing. I didn't fully understand the integral concept until 2007. From there, I began to purchase Ken Wilber's books and explore the philosophy.
What integrally-oriented books, teachers, seminars, websites or other experiences have been most influential?
Ken Wilber, Andrew Cohen and Don Beck are the teachers that have influenced me. I've read Kosmic Consciousness, A Brief History of Everything and the Enlighten Next magazine. As far as websites, I often log into the Integral Life and Enlighten Next sites.
Do you have specific integral practices? If so, what are they?
I have the ILP kit and I practice the 3-2-1 Shadow and Workout when convenient.
Anything else you would like to share?
I'm currently taking on the task of studying the challenges and opportunities in the music industry from an integral perspective to bring about more positive, balanced, valuable and innovative solutions.
